Creating a Banner
Overview
Section titled “Overview”A banner is an HTML block that Behavora shows to visitors on your website. You design the banner in the admin panel and set rules for who should see it.
Step 1: Open the Banners section
Section titled “Step 1: Open the Banners section”In the admin panel, click Banners in the left sidebar, then click New Banner.
Step 2: Fill in the banner details
Section titled “Step 2: Fill in the banner details”| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Internal name for this banner (not shown to visitors) |
| Priority | A number from 1–100. Higher priority banners are preferred when multiple banners match a visitor |
| Status | Set to Active to make the banner eligible to be shown |
Step 3: Design the banner HTML
Section titled “Step 3: Design the banner HTML”Use the HTML Editor to design your banner. You can:
- Paste your own HTML code
- Use the visual editor to drag and drop elements
The banner HTML should include a complete, self-contained block — inline styles are recommended since the banner is injected into your website’s page.
Step 4: Set targeting rules
Section titled “Step 4: Set targeting rules”Before saving, go to the Targeting tab to define who should see this banner. See Targeting Rules for details.
Step 5: Save and activate
Section titled “Step 5: Save and activate”Click Save. If the banner status is set to Active and targeting rules are configured, Behavora will start showing the banner to matching visitors immediately.
